The frenzy

The summer took away the fury

The leaves left the trees

Our love we did bury

Will the emotions ever cease?

The day has arrived, time comes to a halt

Fighting the reluctance, our eyes meet

We taste the sweat and salt

As love unfolded under the sheets

The aroma of our bond fills the room

The silent roar of our smiles prevail

Struggling to breathe, rituals face the doom

As our heartbeat pounds out a rhythm, all else seemed pale

The insistent desire, veiled and dark

Craved for more, as we shared a laugh

Winters never felt so warm

Neither the world ever sounded so rough

In the secrecy of the night

I see affinity in your eyes

As we inch closer, your scent engulfs my sight

Consents reconcile and feelings arise

Your embrace shut my senses dim

Inhibitions raise the question again

You skim the doubts by kissing me on a whim

Solace and devotion our bodies attain.

I believe love, laughter and a thought spared for peace can overcome all the differences in the world.
